AU58 | Victoria 1877 22ct Gold Half-Sovereign - 4th head Die No. 124 - FREE 1g Valcambi Silver bar in assay card

A wonderful addition to any collection - Authenticated by NGC and graded AU58 (highest end of a/uncirculated range), a respectable grade for this variety population

Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half-Sovereign, 1877, fourth young head left, nose points nearer to O in legend, narrow front hair fillet, type A4 with die number, with date below, Latin legend surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, die number 124 below, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: (Hill 452; Bull EGC.1282; MCE.452; S.3860E). Has been slabbed and graded by PCGS as AU58.

PCGS Certification 517610.58/80484525.

Undergraded in my opinion, an ideal candidate for submission for regrading, a beautiful coin.

The Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Edward the Seventh, by the grace of God, King of all the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India."
