Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half-Sovereign, 1893, Jubilee style bust facing left, designed by J. Edgar Boehm, small crown and veil on head, plain truncation variety, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. crowned quartered low shield of arms, date below either side of bottom of frame, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: (DISH L518 S; Hill 482; Bull EGC 1371; S.3869D). Appealingly toned with surface marks and hairlines, graded by PCGS as AU53, rare, the only London Jubilee head denomination dated 1893.

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God," and on the reverse as "Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
