Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half-Sovereign, 1871, second young head left, nose points nearer to O in legend, type A2 with die number, with date below, Latin legend surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, coarse toothed border around rim, I of DEI points to bead, last I of legend to gap, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, die number 12 below, REGINA FID: DEF: (Hill 446A R4; Bull EGC.1274 R4; MCE.-; S.3860A). Toned with light surface marks, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as AU55, extremely rare.
