R2 rating - VERY RARE - A great addition to any collection - Authenticated by NGC and graded AU53, fantastic lustre. Only a handful of graded examples with only 3 higher graded examples on NGC database.

Australia, Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half-Sovereign, 1900-M, Melbourne mint, crowned, veiled bust left, T.B. initials below truncation for engraver Thomas Brock, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA· DEI· GRA· BRITT· REGINA· FID· DEF· IND· IMP·, rev. St George and dragon right, date in exergue, with mint letter M at centre of groundline above 90 (Hill 500A R2; Bull EGC 1814 R2; QM 286; S.3879). Toned, has been slabbed and graded by NGC as AU53, very rare.

NGC Certification 8368654-015.

Undergraded in my opinion, a beautiful example of this rare variety.
