R2 rating - Very rare - An incredible addition to any collection - Authenticated by NGC and graded AU53

[Victoria (1837-1901), gold Half-Sovereign, 1872, second young head left,

nose points nearer to T in repositioned legend, transitional type A2 with die

number, date below, Latin legend surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, coarse

toothed border around rim, rev. crowned quartered shield of arms, die

number 86 below, BRITANNIARUM REGINA FID: DEF: (Hill 446D R2; Bull

EGC.-; MCE.-; S.3860C). Slabbed and graded by

NGC as AU53]

The Latin legends translates on obverse as "Victoria by the Grace of God," and on the reverse as "Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith."
